Jo399 0 Posted July 4, 2012 My MH871, which I just got yestersday is cutting letters on top of each other. On the programm it shows the letters all spread out then the machine cuts them on top of each other. Is this a feeder problem or what?
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 4, 2012 Is the vinyl moving back and forth? are the rollers moving freely? Raise the blade holder up out of your machine, don't put any vinyl in the machine, send an image to cut and watch the rollers. See If they are moving. Maybe the belt slipped or is loose on the rollers, Maybe the pinch rollers are not tight enough down on the vinyl and it's slipping. ALSO. I hope you are not pulling directly from the vinyl roll, There should be plenty of slack in the vinyl. You should never be pulling directly from the roll. You should have enough vinyl free to do your order. .If your order is 5 foot, have a little over 5 foot slack of vinyl unrolled..
