ncstate 0 Posted August 10, 2010 I need some help with future pictures of my vinyl. I need someway to take a picture of say a car rear tinted glass and then crop my vinyl image over that glass (without actually applying it, taking a picture, and removing it every time I want another image). I can crop a picture of my vinyl over the glass, but cannot get the background to go away or blend in with the glass. In other words, when I add the pic to the back glass, it still has the white(or whatever color I make it originally) background around it and in the open space within the decal. thebuttontaylor 1 Posted September 16, 2010 What format is your vinyl image and what software did you design it in? Bill
bayotle 26 Posted September 17, 2010 If i have this right you have an image of a vehicles window and want to put an image of your work over it? If so, it's not that hard and can be done with mspaint open the your image with mspaint, hit ctrl-a (selects everything), ctrl-c (copies the selection to a buffer). open the vehicle image in mspaint, on the left is the tool box, this allows you to put one image over another and allows the first image to bleed through - click it, then press ctrl-v (paste the selection you made earlier). From there you should be able to resize and move your image as needed... a quickie is attacked, took all of about 3 seconds so it's not 'perfect' but you should get the idea. mr300s 1,272 Posted April 17, 2014 That was back in 2010 I doubt he is even doing vinyl anymore. He hasn't been on since the update. They come and go. You can see the date folks post and if it old there is usually no sense in replying ...
