spudgal 0 Posted October 22, 2007 to a concrete wall or cinderblock wall? I have a school that wants large quotes put on their walls but they are concrete with paint. Thanks! Jackie
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 22, 2007 It depends. If the block is painted with a good quality paint, maybe. If its raw block,I wouldn't even try. Whichever way you go,you need a rivet brush,or a tennis ball, something to get the vinyl down into the texture of the block.
Guest fivestar Posted October 22, 2007 If it was me, I would do a reverse weed then paint the quotes on the wall. Basically weedout the letters and keep what is normally the scrap, tape it, apply it to the wall, paint it then after paint dried peel off the vinyl. FYI, do a test spot somewhere first to be sure the vinyl don't peel the paint, but you should be fine.
