I have a customer that wants racing stripes in satin black. All of the stripes I've done are oracal 951, they dont have a satin. Is 3M 1080 good for stripes? And can i get it in 24"x10yds?

I can only advance the vinyl by pulling it. Is there a way the computer can tell the cutter to advance several feet to check.

I have a laserpoint 2 24", Using SCAL3. I have a cut I need to make that is 23" by 7'. What is the best way to ensure that my alignment is spot on. Is there a way to send an advance command to the cutter to advance the vinyl to check it.

So I'm looking at big $$$ to do this type of graphics. Not ready for that much of an investment yet. -
A local travel baseball team asked me to do this type of decal for them. I can do this using 4 layers of vinyl, but this is only one. How is this done? What is the name of this process so I can search?

Ok i finally got my laserpoint 2 cutter. It took me a while to get it to communicate with the computer. I'm using Sure Cuts A Lot software till I figure out what I'm doing. my main use for this will be cutting 5 to 10 mil Mylar stencils for airbrushing. is there anything else I will need to buy... Backing mat or such.

Hi. I'm in Alabama. I just received my US Cutter laserpoint yesterday. I am quickly realizing that I'm going to need help. It took me several hours of loading and deleting just to get the computer to talk to the cutter. I plan on using it mainly to cut stencils for airbrushing. Is there the typical awesome thread for newbies that is the bible for getting everything set up. Thanks for the help.
