You could pop a grommet into coroplast for a quick, low cost solution too. I prefer trying to go 'higher end' myself with plastic sign blanks, but depending on their budget, if they balk at a higher cost one, a smaller coroplast sign with a grommet or two may save the deal if price is an issue. Some sign folks have coroplast laying around. May also speed up the delivery

If you have a licensed copy, I would call Flexi and see what they offer. Our tax dollars are flipping the bill so why not see what they offer.

They did the taxpayers and injustice too, reiterating nothing personal against Tyler. Floors me that Federal tax dollars paid for this...

Contour Cutters - What software you use?
Vermonster replied to Vermonster's topic in General discussion
cool - so everyone uses something different.. lol -
Was just curious given there are a million of them out there - what is everyone using? I'm starting to try to figure it out and was just wondering what everyone else was using.

Please don't tell me to google it either or post a LMGTFY link I have. I've gone to 20 - 30 sites, and all are crap that end up not having it. Something going on with Epson's site. Takes forever (over 1 hour for a 59mb DL and I'm clocking 40mbps). It gets towards the ends and gives a network error. Came with a CD but I have one of those HP Splits (which I love) but doesn't have a CD Slot. If you know a site where I can easily and safely grab it cool, if not, I'll try to figure this printer out tomorrow. Spent about 2 hours downloading it on 2 different pc's and Epson's site is having some kind of issues I think.

Look at me... leaving Roland out of the game.. -
Sounded like you were on watch... Mah bad. Anyway, Just chill out with the posts like these. There are a lot of great people here who get turned off when you post stuff like that. You end up driving lots of folks away, not just the ones with smart answers. Remember - Even when an old timer gives a smart answer, there's still something to learn from it. Later

You tell that to Brent Seabrook? BOOYA! ((that was a nasty cheap shot)) For non-hockey fans wondering: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2035285-blackhawks-brent-seabrook-crushes-david-backes-with-huge-hit-against-wall?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial&hpt=hp_t2#articles/2035285-blackhawks-brent-seabrook-crushes-david-backes-with-huge-hit-against-wall GO RED WINGS!

You're on watch and posting on forums? NICE! I had absolutely no issue with you (or anyone) until reading your arrogant post... You had an issue with one or two people then posted this - what did you think the other 99% of the people reading it would think? Maybe you do need another Prozac and you need to go back to your watch... But to address your statement Yes, When I start a post - finger pointing, ranting, acting like you; you're absolutely at right to respond as I did to your tyrade. No quams there...
-
If that got you "uncalm" then you need to talk to someone on base... Go clean the paint shop or something...

Just putting this out there... If you ask a question and get a smart a$$ answer - live with it or leave. Those are really your two choices, but this entire thread is a joke honestly if you think you're going to have people blow rose flavored smoke up your arse. In fact - you probably did the exact opposite. Grow up and pull your big boy panties on. If you have a problem with a person on this site then take it up with them. Don't make generalized inflamatory posts like this. You complain about "curmudgeon's" but honestly, I'd rather deal with them than people with an attitude like yours...

What price range are you looking to be in for the plotter and the press?

This is exactly why I refuse to sell on ebay. It's saturated with vinyl decals, there's no room to make decent money, and things like this burn you. -
Epson Printers - Keeping em from clogging/drying from Lack of Use
Vermonster posted a topic in Printers
Hi, Quick question about this. I've done a ton of reading on why it happens, but what's the preferred method to keep them from clogging/drying from lack of use? Cleaning the heads? Printing a test page? etc? I'm looking at possibly either writing either a little program or macro that can be scheduled to run periodically so I don't forget to do and want to see what the recommendation is. Clean Cycle, Print Something, etc? How often is it recommended? Every 2 days, 3 days, etc? -
As a matter of fact, for a long time, we had our own Jersey milking cow. Not for any other reason than we went through a ton of milk with 5 kids, (yes...5) and we made our own butter, cheese etc. Prefer it from store bought. For those who've never had fresh beef/pork, or raw milk, or fresh eggs...you would be amazed at the difference. We don't do it for the cost savings, in fact, I really believe it's more expensive. Just nice knowing where your food comes from.

It's EXTREMELY common in much of the US...

Guess I'm going straight to hell then since we raise beef cattle, pigs, and meat chickens. I'm taking my freezers full of meat that I know how it was fed, treated, and butchered with me. Hope they got room for it all...

Am I the only one who goes to Six Flags and takes pictures of the signs? Love these old time designs! !

Ideas for advertising on a sedan?
Vermonster replied to lilypoo's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Magnets are something sign folks sell, not use in my opinion. Why? Cause we know inevitably they'll lose one and need more I would contact your insurance company first, if you haven't already, to see that your insurance wouldn't be affected (not sure if you have a personal or business policy). If you're good on the insurance front (assuming that's still something to check; been outta the business a while and just getting ramped up again) I would wait until you have the money for a full wrap with just vinyl. It can shred the resale/trade in value. That west coast sun ain't no joke... -
Looking For Black Aprons (for BBQ Team) - Anyone got a line on some?
Vermonster posted a topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Looking to pick up some black bbq aprons for Inkjet transfer with 3G Opaque using my Epson (if FedEx ever gets their crap together and actually delivers it) I have a potential job for probably 2-3 aprons, and some shirts/sweatshirts but not sure where to get a relatively inexpensive (but somewhat 'quality') apron from - in Black
