Have not yet decided if we will do the window logo or not but here is a sneak peak of what I am working on Avery SW900 Matte Black wrap with SW900 Glossy White and Black Reflective for the lightning That corner though...you would think I do this for a living lol
-
Yeah I would be more willing to do that but he suggested giant logo direct center. It would be a double layer like we are doing on the rest of the vehicle but I think I have him talked out of the rear window now.
-
Not the answer I wanted to hear but I assumed as much. Probably not worth the trouble of potentially having to redo...ill just incorporate onto the rear lift gate and save us the headache.

I would say that the dealership would take the fault on this. They have legal access to marketing materials and logos...whether having one of us do the job or having Jeep provide the logos would be the gray area IMO. I would have the dealership obtain the permission since they initially have the contacts to reach out to.

Very cool I just scored a local contract with Jeep dealer doing some "dealer packaged" wraps.

Sweet!!! Glad I could be of assistance Keep up the good work!

Nice work. FORD...my favorite 4 letter word

Thanks! The material itself is was not more than about $200...so it all comes down to labor cost. If this was not a good friend I would of charged upward of $500-$600 with the amount of work involved...sometimes more depending on the vehicle and material. Most of the time I give the customer the option to disassemble the vehicle themselves and that saves us about 2-3 hours of work and we can afford to knock off about $100-$200 off the total cost.

De-chromed a 2500 Duramax for a buddy of mine this weekend. Spent about 15 hours on this...most of it being de/re-assembly. Used Avery SW900 Glossy White and added my "signature" to the grill. Needless to say everyone was happy in the end. Now off to the next project...

Wanted to share this - Silent click mouse from Nexus (wireless)

I had a mouse that I used when I first started using my tablet. However have completely "weaned" myself off of using it lol -
Wanted to share this - Silent click mouse from Nexus (wireless)

I've bypassed the mouse completely by moving to a Wacom tablet. Besides being functional...its a great "security" system since most people are unfamiliar with using the tablets vs using a mouse. -
Looks like a snuggie for a 40 oz. Would be a bit classier than a paper bag...

Cool thanks!

Its embossed. I took some really thick vinyl...actually used a scrap piece of RealTree wrap vinyl...and laid that prior to the white vinyl.

Price Needed For Wrapping A Bucket
Moody Blue replied to racert25's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Look into hydrodipping them. You can do a full pattern print for the "wow" factor and can be done in half the time. Not sure how the cost compares to wrap but I know it will look just as good and not take as long to produce. -
Price Needed For Wrapping A Bucket

Printing itself at that size would not be too expensive....it's the labor to install them on a round surface that will be the most costly. I install wraps on YETI cups and besides being "fun" to work around the cylinder there's no way to avoid a seam on the back side either. It may be worth the cost to have them powder coated or hydrodipped and just apply a decal over the freshly colored bucket at that qty. You are looking close to an hour (each) for install and at my rate would be around $1200 on just the labor alone. I would quote about $1600 on this project if it were me. -
"Chip" with vehicle and boat designs?
Moody Blue replied to Decals Direct's topic in General discussion
There are several programs or websites that offer these. You can buy individual templates as needed or subscriptions through www.the-blueprints.com or my favorite lately is www.thebadwrap.com -
Im excited to announce that after few years of installing vinyl wraps and decals for custom truck builds, Moody Blue Decals has been selected as wrap and graphics sponsor for Project Umbrella to debut at none other than the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The truck will be brought to SC from New York in June and we will have 48 hrs to completely install the wrap and graphics. This is the first rendering we did for the build but have since decided that a "rust" wrap will be more fitting and we will be turning this into an apocalyptic master piece. Stay tuned throughout the year much more to come!

I believe he'll trailer it to the show...or i hope he does. Those wheels and tires will sling some serious road debris and potentially screw up my hard work.
-
Yeah one of their guys will be driving it 12 hrs to me for a 48 hr wrap install. As far as I know SEMA as hundreds of categories...including best of show, best design, best paint, best wrap...etc. Will be taking pics as we go and will share them here in this thread.
-
LOL yeah im not a fan of the big wheels and little tires on a lifted truck...however yes I do think it's legal or for his sake of driving down from NY I hope it is.

Haven't yet been there. Ill have to keep it in mind when planning some weekend trips this summer.

Nicely done and welcome! I love going up to Carolina Beach. Wilmington could be one of my favorite cities to visit!
