to add to my earlier post: I have a Copam 2500 cutter. I am trying to cut a 15" x 10 yard roll of Avery 900 vinyl. When the design starts to cut the vinyl quickly skews until the cut goes right off the edge, bunches and tears the vinyl. I can not slow the cutting speed enough to keep the vinyl feeding straight. I am VERY frustrated with this. Can anyone help me fix this?

I too am having trouble keeping the vinyl straight when cutting long designs. When the cutter quickly feeds through it gets skewed and my designs no longer line up. I have tried all the suggestions listed above and I am still having problems! Does anyone have any other ideas for me?

Hello All, I am a newbie who just got my first vinyl cutter. So far I have only played around with it and the practice vinyl that I ordered with it. Now I am looking to buy some nice vinyl to start doing vehicle lettering. I have no idea where to start. I see that 3M, Oracal and Avery are the suggested brands of vinyl, but I want to know more about each type they offer. When I go to the web sites... I see a list of vinyls I can order but I would like to research the differences. Does anyone know how or where I can get a catalog from each company? I would appreciate any input anyone has on vinyl and on how to get a catalog. Thank you!

I too am new to the vinyl cutting arena and I am using Flexi 8.5 software on my Copam cutter. I understand the difference between vector and raster art but what file format do I have to use to import my Illustrator file into my Flexi software? Will an eps work? Thanks!
