    Based on your experience ....

Good to know, since I have that tendency to over-buy stuff to start with. Since this will be a hobby, at least at the beginning, I can always add another cutter later. Thanks for the advice.

Want to buy by Sunday night

Cre8tiveCutter, thanks for the explanation, now that make sense. I was thinking more about the dimensions of the vinyl instead of the type of vinyl. Sandy, I was thinking of that last night but didn't knew that was possible. Does that white paper has the alignment holes? Does that paper has a specific name or any apaper will do it ? thanks a lot looking forward to get "addicted"

Is going to sound stupid, but I really didn't get what you're trying to say. I understand but it doesn't make sense to me, I'm still getting the idea of all of this

  5. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,16009.0.html That answers my own question.
  6. That's why I'm asking .... I've been reading a lot lately but in other areas of the forum, so I don't know what is "accepted" regarding artwork sharing. Feel free to delete de post if it's inappropriate. Where are the guidelines for file sharing/uploading if any ? Thanks guys
  7. Does something like this be useful for you guys ? They are EPS with a JPG preview. Download Here; <link deleted... sorry> If this post is incorrect/not allowed, please delete it. I'm new to the forum, and don't even have a cutter yet but wanted to give something back.

    120% newbie

Hi there I'll be spending the night (I guess) doing some research here, but I'd like to make a couple of questions so if someone has the time to answer them I'll be a few steps ahead even if I found the answers on my own. My background to make your life simpler : I own a Window Cleaning Company in Katy TX and as a business owner I'm also affected by these tough times. I already pay for graphics for my 2 vehicles and thousands of bandit signs, but not too long ago I made the decision to start taking care of my printing needs. I'm not quite there yet, but at least I'm free to choose my printing company since I'm doing my own designs, so I said to myself "self, why not doing the same qith my other marketing materials?" , and that's why I landed here I'm on a tight budget, as you can already imagine, but I also see this as an opportunity to offer my services to another fellow window cleaners and make some extra $$ while helping people of my same industry. Equipment-wise I have no idea what is my best choice, I don't know if I need to start small and then grow, or go mid-size from the beginning. I'm thinking more about making my own bandit signs to gain experience, and the largest size that I use is 18x24 so I don't know if a 24" cutter will do it or is just too little. If you can shed some light over my ignorance on this matter it will be greatly appreciated. Some things that I've seen on eBay so far, just to see if I'm in the right path or as usual, way off !! http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-54-ArtCut-Vinyl-Cutting-Plotter-Flexi-Sign-Cutter_W0QQitemZ390034710897QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item390034710897&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 http://cgi.ebay.com/25-VINYL-CUTTER-SIGN-CUTTING-PLOTTER-24-25-36-48-50-54_W0QQitemZ120393489115QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item120393489115&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Sorry for the extremely long post, but you'll see me around here more often and at the end you'll get used to it Thank you very much in advance, and this is one of the coolest things of the internet : share knowledge

    Spanish Phrases

I do speak Spanish and if you tell me exactly what you wanna say I can translate it to you ... on the cutest way possible I'll look around to say what is the " right" thing to say in these cases, I have no kids as you can tell already.
