It's awesome being able to use these cutters for gifts

I've been cutting for a while now, and I decided to do something different. They might look a little hokey I guess, but they were first attempts. What do you think ?

Yeah, I was just wondering how you went about making the registration marks. Is this a specific program or would I be able to do this in SBE ? The only way I can see doing it is putting a pair of squares with circles inside them under the image. So that when it cuts, it lines up with each section. Is this , basically, how you did it ?

Kind of sounds like your X-Axis over ride might be clicked on? In the cutter settings under setup, there's a setting called "X-Axis over ride" If it's checked, the setting might be slowing your cutter down....possibly.

Would he be willing to share what he did to remedy the situation ? It may help some people out who are struggling with the same problem

I don't know about the motherboard, but when I loosened the screw above the fan and made sure the belt wasn't loose it started working. The screw can be seen if you look up through the fan blades ( with the fan turned off, of course).

I think the rollers need a minimum of so many millimeters on both sides (for mine it says 15 mm). This might be the problem, if it's anything like my MH871.

If you mean that it's not advancing, then I think it may be the roller needs adjusted. I did two things, but not quite sure which helped it. The first thing I did was loosened the middle support screw for the roller. You might be able to adjust it without taking the bottom off, on mine it's located just above the fan. The other thing I did was took the stepper motor end off of the cutter and noticed the belt was off a little. So I adjusted it to where it should be. So, if it's just sitting there cutting a straight line across the vinyl and making a buzzing, grinding type noise, then that may be it.
