And here's one I did with 7 colors for my daughter who absolutely LOVES Gir
-
Oh, my bad, didn't know you had a website for it Yeah $5 isn't too bad Better than going out and buying an $80 pack in the hopes that it's what you want Seems like anymore I have to vectorize every single graphic I do. Although, once in a great while I'll get a nice black and white Here's an example of what I've done, a before and after if you will

"Teach Em To Fish" Manual Tracing - Lesson 1
RiddleOfSphinx replied to tlzimmerman's topic in Vectorizing
AMAZING !! That's similar to what I do in GIMP 2.6 Sometimes I can get away with using the add to selection with the fuzzy select, but not as much as I would like to -
I guess I didn't know you could make money doing vectors How much does one usually charge for that anyway ? I do my own, but I was just curious because mine get pretty detailed at times :-

Thanks !

I may even have a wii remote eps still if anybody wants one (not a bad eps to have if you want to make wii remote skins). Oh, and I like the pixel art and the mario in the warp tube the best.

It's awesome being able to use these cutters for gifts
-
I've been cutting for a while now, and I decided to do something different. They might look a little hokey I guess, but they were first attempts. What do you think ?
-
Yeah, I was just wondering how you went about making the registration marks. Is this a specific program or would I be able to do this in SBE ? The only way I can see doing it is putting a pair of squares with circles inside them under the image. So that when it cuts, it lines up with each section. Is this , basically, how you did it ?

MH871 cutting very slowly setting are the same
RiddleOfSphinx replied to mng0411's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Kind of sounds like your X-Axis over ride might be clicked on? In the cutter settings under setup, there's a setting called "X-Axis over ride" If it's checked, the setting might be slowing your cutter down....possibly. -
Help with MH721 cutting unevenly

Would he be willing to share what he did to remedy the situation ? It may help some people out who are struggling with the same problem -
Just opened my 871, Feed rollers not advancing?
RiddleOfSphinx replied to Paradox's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I don't know about the motherboard, but when I loosened the screw above the fan and made sure the belt wasn't loose it started working. The screw can be seen if you look up through the fan blades ( with the fan turned off, of course). -
Vinyl feed off tracking bad
RiddleOfSphinx replied to SEA_TEC's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I think the rollers need a minimum of so many millimeters on both sides (for mine it says 15 mm). This might be the problem, if it's anything like my MH871. -
cutter help
RiddleOfSphinx replied to airtime grafix's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
If you mean that it's not advancing, then I think it may be the roller needs adjusted. I did two things, but not quite sure which helped it. The first thing I did was loosened the middle support screw for the roller. You might be able to adjust it without taking the bottom off, on mine it's located just above the fan. The other thing I did was took the stepper motor end off of the cutter and noticed the belt was off a little. So I adjusted it to where it should be. So, if it's just sitting there cutting a straight line across the vinyl and making a buzzing, grinding type noise, then that may be it.
