I just recieved my 24" LP. Hooked it all up and ran some test cuts. The "cutter head" has a circuit board on top that rubs the top cover and causes it to bind up and make crazy noises. If I run it with the cover flipped up, I have no issues? Is this normal? I hate to spend $400 on something and it not work like it is supposed to.

I saw a sticky on here about setting your blade depth and pressure but am unable to find it. I have an LP 24". Any advice? Thanks!

I have been looking at different machines and software for several weeks now. I have saved up enough $$$ to make a purchase but I do not want to buy the wrong machine. I plan on doing vinyl for vehicles and R/C cars, trucks and airplanes. My question is this (I know it has been ask a bazillion times), what cutter do you all recommend (from US Cutter)? I cannot afford a graphtec right now. I also have leaned away from contour cutting (maybe in the future). This is what I have narrowed it down to. I was informed that the refine line does not do contour cutting. I did some research and think that this may be something that I would like to do in the future. Now what?
