I take the cutter off line and run the vinyl through the length of the cut or more with the controls on the cutter. to make sure it feeds straight. I watch the gap at the right press foot to make sure it stays consistent. If it doesn't I reposition the vinyl and run it back and forth again until it does. Then I position the cutter in the corner of the material, press the button to zero the X/Y axis at that point, and put the cutter back on line. then cut.

Thanks for the heads up on this ebay seller. I bought some ShineRite from hometeam*1 off ebay and was very happy with the product, price, and transaction.

Somebody's just being greedy.

Awesome! That takes a couple of clicks out at start each time. THANKS KEN!

+1 on the paper and pen. I'm testing a design right now using the back side of some freezer paper (waxed side down).

Looks great. Why didn't you just mask the whole thing and let the cup be the same color as the wall?

Does anyone have sport numbers,, 0-9, or 1-10.

Look at your SBE font Profil (SBF_P042) -
Wonder if it is an oil base paint that keeps leaching oil or something? The paint should dry and cure so you can clean it and stick to it no matter what base it is though.

My experience occurred on my desktop machine with XP Pro. Only difference was the downloaded one counted and the one that came on the disc with my machine did not. I have the one from the disc installed on my laptop and desktop now and neither counts. To get it to stop I did not have to alter any registry entries either. I just uninstalled the program and deleted the program folder left behind before installing again. Always delete the left behind program folders when you uninstall programs. They will store ini files that contain things like counter info.

I searched for zebra in the graphics request section and found this. Try cutting it in black and applying it to your white then try to cut your letters. Not sure how it would cut after that though so try a small one and see. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,10282.0.html

Ummmmmm, try looking in post #1 of this thread.

I had that problem with the downloaded version. I can't remember if I had SB or SB for US Cutter. I uninstalled the program, deleted the Cutting Technologies folder, and install the software off the disc that came with my cutter. That ended the count for me.

The packing slips all said 54" by 5yds I think. The offer had 5 selections. I checked them all. I don't have the printer either but the first two rolls were some pretty good looking white vinyl and a roll of clear laminate. I plan to cut them down and use them on my cutter. Haven't researched what the others are yet. If I can't use them I might find a local sign shop that can.

my black and white image wants to print in 2 colors

Which one is the shit key? The brown one right below the AH key. ;D -
Don't forget you can always resize to fit on printer paper and use the pen to draw your designs before cutting. Helps if you think it may have flaws and saves on vinyl.

PCUT Shipped today
sandman replied to TexasFocus18's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
You need to learn the fine art of sniping. I tried to let ebay bid for me for a month and kept getting outbid. Had my mind made up I wasn't going over $300 shipped and I started watching a bunch of them and bidding in the last few seconds. Got the second or third one I tried on that way. I also grabbed a 5 roll sample pack they had back then and the whole deal shipped was right at my price. -
I think he needs to change the name of his business but your design looks good. Larger phone# wouldn't hurt as mentioned.

That POPS! Good idea to use a white background/outline.

That is one awesome lookin banner!
-
Good job on the banner. I haven't done any pay work beside trading some buck a piece stickers for my entry fees for autocross events. I had a request the other day, the guy wanted two words for a windshield banner and he wanted each word to be 4"x30". He also wanted two web address stickers to be 2"x25". I figured a buck a letter for the 4", .50 for the 2", and $7 shipping and handling. It came to $40 shipped and I never heard back from him.

Maybe a dumb question but are you sure your circles are round? When you draw them in SB are the height and width dimensions the same in the size boxes?
-
Got these two rolls today. 3M

Any way to delete part or parts of a rectangle? When I try to select part of a rectangle and delete it the whole rectangle goes away. I've also had problems with trying to delete parts of othre shapes and they close the path along the deleted area.
-
Didn't have much luck with either of these methods but thanks for the reply. I found a path eraser under the pencil tool that seems to work. You'd think the erasing and drawing functions would be separate. Programs I've used in the past I could select any portion of a shape or object and just hit delete without deleting or redrawing anything else.

T-Shirts: 100% cotton or 50/50 blend?
sandman replied to JoeCamaro's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Not a shirt maker but for wear I only buy 100% cotton with pockets. I don't know how people get by without pockets? I have actually taken printed tees and had pockets added.
