neron,
let me know if you need the acrylic or lexan for this job. I know of a plastics company that sells this stuff in Pittsburgh.
-
The $70 is only if you register a fictitious name. If you go with something like John Doe Signs and Graphics then you don't have to pay the extra money.
-
I'll give it a try. THANKS!!

Those will work. Thanks!!!

You can see it in Signblazer? I can see the image in every other program except for signblazer. It's visible as a PDF, EPS, AI etc.
As soon as I import it into Signblazer, there are pieces missing.
-
I'm importing this image with Signblazer as and EPS that was originally created in Adobe Illustrator and it won't import the entire image. It cuts off the top half of the guys head. Any ideas why it looks fine as a PDF, AI, and EPS, but won't import all of the lines? I tried to node edit to see if there something else going on and it only let me edit the mouth.
I think the customer grouped or locked something to cause this, but I don't have AI to check. Any ideas how I can get this image ready to cut.

Ok, I spent hours on this and I didn't get anything like that. I was about to recreate the entire thing over again. How did you do that?
Thank You :)

Yep, too small. Did you try asking them for their original artwork. They probably have the original on file for this kind of thing.
-
Terry,
I was able to open the file to look at it, and everything looks good.
I tried importing into signblazer and nothing happened. Any ideas?

I did a similar van for $300, but they did the installation. I would say $500-$600 is what I would charge installed. It really depends on how much vinyl and are you using cal. or cast vinyl.
-
Cal. Maybe pricing for 25, 50, 100.
-
-
How much lettering. Just the doors or the entire side of the van? Are you installing or is the customer applying RTA graphics?
-
Is the $10 per sq ft rule for calendared vinyl or cast?
-
Thanks, I'll try them out.
-
I vectorized this but It is a mess. There are too many layers of color that are not necessary. What is the best way to make this a simple color graphic with vinyl. Would you print this instead?
-
Did you try the serial cable instead of USB. I had problems with USB and went to Serial and never went back.

I'm working on a website template and I can't figure out how to line something up. Anyone have experience with HTML and willing to look at my code to see if there is an easy fix for my problem. I'll PM the source code to anyone that can help me out. I know this isn't a website development forum, but I know there are a lot of tech savy guys out there. Thanks a bunch.

Great idea. Now you just need a little yellow for the blinking light on the roof. LOL.

I buy 50 yard rolls for the basic colors. Red, black, white, blue. 10 yard rolls for everything else, unless I have a big job where I know I'm going to use most of the 50 yard roll.
Funny thing about Teal. I bought a roll for a small job and suddenly needed it for another job. John is right, when they know you have the color they want you'll usually sell it.

A lot of folks on here have had great experiences with US Cutters. PCUT or Refine would probably work fine for what you need. Both sold on www.uscutter.com or you can try your luck on ebay. For starters you'll need a cutter, vinyl, xacto knife, plastic squeegee, and transfer tape. You can buy vinyl and transfer tape from USCutter. There are a number of sites that you can buy sign materials from. Some require that you have a sign business and some do not.
redoing back lite sign - need help
in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
