Karl, Thanks for the reply! I have added the newest driver from Keyspan I did call them and got them to make sure that it was installed correctly and apparently it is correct. I have also made sure the settings are still right for the signcut pro ie that it is my cutter and all settings including keyspan is correct, but still no go?? it looks to Kimon that it is a communication error. He asked if the USB was under 6' it is and I just went out and got a new one just in-case. I have also tried to remove the driver and reinstall but no luck there? I really don't know what to do. I need the cutter running by Wednesday by the latest I might have to go back to using a PC just for cutting if signcut pro or??? won't work with Mac. Very frustrating!! I have been working on it for about a 2 1/2 weeks. Thanks Keith

I would phone the other sign shops or get a Friend to phone give the basic detail of the job and ask the ball park price on it. I live in Vancouver B.C. lots of competition around here but I got allot of my pricing nailed down by doing that. But just remember its just a ball park price. In the end you will have to come up with your own pricing that works for you, and your area. If you do a good job, nice work, reasonable timeline and pricing. Consumers will come back. I also use some of my small off cuts to give the kids stickers Lots of the big kids come back for them to Cheap easy promo. Oh My pricing would be $150 installed with 651 would go up if it was more that two colors Hope that helps. Keith

Can any one tell me how to install the keyspan driver so it works with the cutters? I have Snow Leopard and it put the new keyspan drive in to the modem setup menu. Sign cut does see it but it wont work. I'm hopping some sone here has a mac with a keyspan and they could just look at there settings. At least then I would have something to go on. I still am not able to cut and I really getting frustrated. Any help would be great. Keith

OK just got a Email back from Kimon, unfortunately they can't help because it is hardware. Or...Maybe hardware He did ad he was going to check with his tec guys . I hope they know. So right now I've got Signcut Pro a Keyspan adapter and a copam 4050 that don't talk. The keyspan has the newest drivers but ? anyone like to make a guess?? Some one must have a mac and a cutter that works out there what did you do??? Keith

You can do a easy quick website though google just look up "google sites" easy quick looks to good to be true!! I may even do one now Keith

So no one out there to help?? :- Really frustrating when your cutter won't cut even more when Signcut is off line and the forum is dead. When is signcut help actually around? What time zone are they in?

Does anyone have a plug in for Illy CS4 I can not get any of my files I make in cs4 to go to Signcut and work!! I tryed sign cut help but?? And adobe just keeps telling me there looking in to it. Right now I'm stalled with now way to get my programs working togeather I'm pretty sure it is something I'm doing but how knows :- Thanks Keith

Ok, so when I first got my cutter it came with a keyspan (USA-19HS) it worked fine no big deal. Well until it stopped working Ken suggested cables and a new serial to usb adapter. So I went to my local store and got a intagraded cable adapter. Plugged it in and BAMB!! it works So a few weeks ago I deside to upgrade my programs so I got Illy cs4 and the rest of the Adobe design programs. This is where things go bad. I spend a bunch of time one the programs making a lot of new things and finaly deside to do some cutting Yep, Signcut X2 does not work with CS4 So after a bit signcut offers up there new beta version of signcut pro Sweet!! now the fun begins. that was over a week ago. Remember the part about going to cut bunch of stuff ie clients wanting to see there NEW vinyl So I still can't cut I have got 3 new integrated cable usb to serial adpters but nothing is working? I have got a tec in to reset my ports on my computer and reload the drivers but no luck. I tried running over my computer with my truck but......just kidding Any thoughs...I'm looking in Vancouver for a Keyspan but I have not found them yet I was going to order one from US Cutter but It is going to cost $48.00 shipping My last order to my shock!! was $56.92 Shipping for 1 pack of blades and 2 pen holders (only two because I didn't notice one on the form ) Really is not worth the shipping.
