    I give up

Weeding text that small in those fonts is going to be the tough part for sure. We weed fonts down to about a quarter inch tall for sandcarving, but the fonts have to be willing. Why not print it out and then put in the frame? Just a thought.
  2. I was going to order these about a year ago, but after they called me on my cell phone (I did not give them my cell number) I decided to pass on this company. Then I found that uscutter sells these right here http://www.uscutter.com/Package-of-20-Squeegees_p_331.html and now I send these out with most every order.

    Clean cut blades

The only thing better than the blades at Clean Cut is the customer service Ross give every customer. You'll never find any better.
  4. Hi folks, I just set up my new graphtec Ce5000 -60, we already had a graphtec so it was just a matter of setting it up. But this one is giving me "no media" error when I hit the cut button. I can hit the enter button and it cuts the graphic just fine, but I know it is not suppose to do that and with our shops work load even one extra step is one too many. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? Thanks

    Hello from Indiana

I thought I had posted in here way back when I signed up, but the post count does not lie and it say I didn't. Well Here goes, I have been cutting vinyl for about 10 years now with a few years before that installing them in shopping malls from coast to coast. I decided that a life on the road was not for me anymore after I married my sweetheart 12 years ago this December 19th. Folks I won the lottery when she said yes, not sure which bobby prize she won, but she puts up with this old man and yes I am sometimes crabby old man. I can hold my own when it comes to tracing a vector, use CorelDraw mostly as it is what I started with. Most of the sign-age we have done is vinyl, but we built this shop 32X64 as a sandcarving studio, but the vinyl took off so well that it has taken over 80% of the business (and still growing). This is why I posting today, we now have 3 cutters and on Monday we will be adding a 4th one to the shop. We have decide to add another graphtec (24") to our tool list. I just can not put up with the noise and the babysitting of our current master cutter (24") I will keep it in the shop as it has the down force for cutting out sandblasting mats, but that is about all I will use it for, I love how quite the graphtec cutters are compared to some other cutters. I have been around a while, just never have time to browse or post much anymore.

    A very overwhelmed cutter buyer!!

I have to modify my post about which one I would recommend. After reading around a bit I can not believe I considered anything but another graphtec. I was just being very shortsighted about saving a few bucks now, but be sorry later. I have never been sorry with my 15" graphtec so I know I will love the new 24". It really is true that once you have had the best, you just will not be satisfied with the rest.

    A very overwhelmed cutter buyer!!

Well I have been cutting vinyl for about 10 years and have 3 cutters, a lynx 12"(express vinyl), a master 24" (works great for sandblasting mask make way too much noise) and a few years ago at a trade show my wife wanted a contour cutter to "play with" she saw the robocraft and wanted it. I said no way, if you want one get the graphtec 15" (it was just 1,000 bucks) I insisted she order that one and she loves it. I have really taken it over as it is now our workhorse in the shop. It works everytime with out having to tweak it all the time. That is what we have and I came in the forum to read about the http://www.uscutter.com/USCutter-LaserPoint-Vinyl-Cutter-w-CONTOUR-CUTTING-feature-_p_567.html cutter to see what folks think of it. I will be ordering a new 24" cutter on Monday, right now I am set on the 24" Graphtec http://www.uscutter.com/Graphtec-CE5000-Series-Vinyl-Cutter_p_125.html because we love the graphtec so much that we would really love to stay with it. If I had never known the ease of the graphtec cutter I am sure I would love the Lazerpoint cutter, the price is great and it also does the contour cuts. I guess I have taken the long way around it, but even in a home based business time is still money and with everything else a a "homemaker" has to do the last thing you want to do is babysit the cutter. I have heard some great tings about the Lazerpoint cutter, which is why I am wonder too if it could be the way to go. Good luck in your search...
