  1. I've been experiencing similar issues since I bought this cutter about 4 months ago. At this point, I can't consistently cut anything even moderately complex. Sometimes it'll cut, other times it stops tracing in SignBlazer and if you let it go, it will cut to that point and then move back to the origin, cutting a big slash across the design. This problem has cost me a lot of money in wasted vinyl and has even kept me from doing some bigger jobs (wall words) which is the main reason I bought this cutter. I've tried everything from reformatting the computer (brand new Toshiba laptop with 1Gb RAM) to resetting the machine before every cut, to changing USB cable, with no apparent change in the ability to cut a design all the way every time. Has anybody else been able to figure this one out, or can somebody actually tell me that this machine should be able to cut a phrase with 4 inch letters that is 5 feet long? I've had many people ask me about this cutter and at this point, my response is "you get what you pay for". Help...anybody.
  2. Well, after reading through this thread, I thought my problems were over. I had been experiencing this same issue and was wasting vinyl by the yards. After trying the reset trick I got a couple of things to print in a row, which hadn't happened yet. But then it stopped again the third time through, even after resetting several times. And now I have a cut that I can't get to work for anything. I've tried at least ten times and each time it gets just a few letters into it and then I can see that blazer stops sending to the cutter. The tracing of the cut stops exactly where the cutting will stop and the blue progress bar that says it's sending to cutter just freezes. I've tried tweaking baud rates, I've changed the port, I've changed the cable, I've rebooted, and I can't cut this. I'm very frustrated right now and just burned through several yards of good vinyl trying to get this to cut. :'( I can't believe more people aren't experiencing this issue. For the record, this is a brand new Toshiba laptop running Windows XP. Anybody have any suggestions?
