really need help with contour cut with signcut x2, it was so easy to do it in sbe

im curious, how do you get the contour cut going in signcut, im a newbie, to the signcut, i have a laserpoint, i know how to use sbe and flexisign pro 7.5 but this signcut is confusing to me... all i wanna do is contour cut...i use my pcut for everything else like letters and shapes...but flexisign 7.5 doesnt allow contour cut...for my printer..cuz i have a epson 1400 and that printer is not supported... here is the photo i want to contour cut..... so i thought contour cut was it prints out your image then it puts registration marks around it, and then u put in vinyl cutter and its cuts out....i was doing this just fine in signblazer..but i had to switch over because i have a 11x17 printer, and it became complicated....when tryin to cut 11x17.... all help is need please get back family... can i get a step by step for signblazer i would import image then click on image and duplicate then click the duplicated image, then go to monochrome 1bit, then vectorize image turns blue, drag over blue image to the side delete the old black image then go to manipluate and click the mask on/off that puts mask around photo then i click print..with registration marks on bottom 2 then once printed i go to file, cut a print line up registration marks and cut it was simple, dont have clue about signcut

lol went to walmart last night, it was a super walmart so i knew it would be open til at 11pm, then i went to scrapbooking area and found some cricut paper 12x12, then i really didnt understand cuz the 2 pieces of transfer paper i tried contour cut with work alone, even though i was a little worried about potential tears and rips, but once i got home i used it and its does wonders, so excited, only problem im kinda facing now is: Since i use 11x17 transfer paper i go to file and work area, set it up in the preset at the 11x17, then import jpegs and mask, then i adjust the size of the jpeg and mask in the workarea to make it bigger just say making it 14x9 then...i go to file, then print, i got to printer properties, and adjust my print to 11x17, then click ok, then go back and click ok in sbe,THEN IT TAKES ME TO THE PREVIEW, AND MY PRINT IS STILL ONLY IN CORNER, ONLY USING LIKE A 1/3 OR 1/2 THE 11X17 SHEET.... HAS THIS HAPPENED TO YOU, WHAT PRINTER DO U USE...? I have a Epson stylus photo 1400... with CIS pigment ink!

so where can i buy carrier sheets locally, can i buy them at walmart, where would they be located... my situation, just got contour cut, wanna cut my epson 1400 cis transfer paper in vinyl cutter, please tell me the process, and where to get carrier sheets, locally!! thanks!! i feel like im almost there.. to completely understanding

u seem pretty knowledgable, so what is a carrier, i hear u need that on the back of transfer paper, to make it more stable? and not cut and tear paper.?? and how to you slow the speed down of cutter? here is a little from the forum i was reading about carrier?? I purchased a set of them at Walmart based on recommendations from some folks here on the forum and it has helped. thanks for the help so far, can see how it will work, but im a little puzzled when u say fill in the rest of white areas, with magic wand, and hold down shift, while clickin all of white areas, i did that, then went to select, and pushed inverse, and nothing happened, do i just color in the white spot with a pencil or is there something im missing, just curious almost there

okay so i know how to contour cut my images, thats not the problem, what i worried about is when im putting mask around image after i go to mode, and go to monochrome 1bit,..when applying the thresold i can put it all the way to 99 and it still doesnt fill the image up, making cutter cut inside the image, is there some way for me to get around this, maybe when making my designs, in photoshop how i can maybe put the circle or whatever shape i want around jpeg then so when it goes into SBE, it will fill up.... i tried this photo here, and many like it, just dont fill up how can i get around this.. this is a major issue for anyone who does transfer for tshirts[/img]

hey there, so i recently got a laserpoint24, i have used pcut 630 before, so this printer is like the big brother.. i followed the DIRECTIONS TO CONTOUR CUT, and easily got it to cut my printed transfers from my epson 1400....!! what my deal is, is when i bring in a jpeg...this is a good example...of pic attached [/img] so with this one i go thru process with mode, then when i do the threshold at 99. its still not good enough to fill it, so i can do contour cut around image, i know there is someway we can get around this, like in photoshop, or coreldraw or something, this is a superbig issue to anyone who does heat transfers for tshirts
