Does it matter if it is for sandblasting purposes vs. signs? I'll be using it for sandblasting. Thanks again for all your help!

Right when I was about to place my order for a graphtec, I called US Cutter and was told that the copam was the best plotter to purchase to create stencils for sandblasting because of the size of the resist. Probably shouldn't have read the complaints section about their reps, but before I order anything ... what do the experts say? Thank you so much for your help...I need it!

I am in process of buying a plotter to make stencils for sandblasting purposes, primarily wine glasses, mugs, etc. I'm not a business, but working out of my garage. What is the best set up you would recommend for primarily sandblasting glasses, etc. What about software? What is the best for my purposes? Will the freeby do what I need? Is there any software which allows you to scan in something and then transfer into the software? And also, what else are you able to use it for business-wise? It would be nice to use it for more than stencils ... maybe wall quotes, signs, etc., if I can find customers for that. After reading on this board, I will probably buy a 24" cutter in the hopes of some other type of business. Thanks for any and all help.

My question to you is do I assume this is what you are using: Graphtec CE5000-60 , Flexi, Corel x4, LXI VE master pro 8.6. Is this the set up you would recommend for primarily sandblasting glasses, etc. Does your software work well for you? Can you scan and transfer into the software?
