tonico 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Hi guys I need a little help with this. I am trying to do the democratic donkey (I am also going to do the elephant). My idea was to do the whole image in white and than do the top half in blue with the stars cut out and the bottom in red. Layer the whole thing. What I came up with is what I have attached, which works but not exactly what I wanted. If at all possible I would prefer the sequence so I don't have to come back here everytime I need something.. The original was color. I converted the raster to B/W with Adobe elements, than vectorized with Inkscape and brought it in Signblazer. I am a newbie at all of this (specially node editing). Thanks for any help Tony democrat.eps democrat.SBD democrat.eps democrat.SBD

tonico 0 Posted August 28, 2008 Thanks for the suggestion. That got me a whole lot closer but still no cigar. This will require some SB expertise that I am still lacking. I used the outline option and that basically created the white background and an outline which looks better any way. The problem that I am running into is that the stars are being cut on the white background even if they don't show as beeing there on the image on the white layer. The blue does not have the cuts for the stars. Any suggestions? Thanks Tony
Guest TracMatt Posted August 28, 2008 You should post this in the signblazer thread I guess then. Tracee
