Are there any common problems?

with the refine redsail cutters as mines been down for ages and everything seems fine it just turns on, will test cut but nothing else so i wondering if there are any common problems they have as i have not touched my settings etc?

im starting to wonder if im looking in the wrong place and maybe theres a fault with the lpt1 cable (like broken wire) as i can do loads of sending and nothing happens then all of a sudden (on very few occations ) its started cutting a small bit of a very old job
