signs20 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Hi I wanted to first say how helpfull this forum has been for me being VERY new at this...I have been able to cut vector files already vinyl ready from a cd i bought...I have tried to vector a simple (blk & wht) image using inkscape from a jpg to an eps and cut it using signblazer I get the image into SB and the pic shows up put when i go to cut the image on the cut screen its not there do i need to put a tile box around the image?? Can someone let me know what I am doing wrong?? Thanks, Jenn
Guest Terry Posted May 4, 2008 After you vector in Inkscape drag the top image off to the side, that is your vector, now delete the image under it. Save top image as eps.
signs20 0 Posted May 4, 2008 I just tried it and still nothing comes up...it shows up in SB as a "postscript scanner" the other images I was able to cut show up and cut in "full postscript interpreter" not sure if that makes a diff...

signs20 0 Posted May 5, 2008 ok it seems everything that I can get to cut is in AI format...what does that mean and how do I convert the images to AI?? why does it not take the eps images???
mark-s 1,126 Posted May 5, 2008 You need Adobe Illustartor,Corel,Flexi Sign,Winsign, These programs I know for sure will convert and save in AI format. There might be others but I`m formular with these programs. mark-s
