Tricia 0 Posted August 21, 2016 Ive had my cutter for like 3 years and all of a sudden I started getting a message saying USB not recognized, so I uninstalled & reinstalled, still got error message. So, I decided to uninstall sure cuts a lot & reinstall to see if that helped.....well now when I get to the screen where it ask me to install driver & I click to install , I get a message Installation couldn't be completed... I've tried reinstalling on windows 7..,and tried to just start completely over on another computer which is windows 10, both are doing the same thing! I NEED HELP! If you dont have the driver installed ,, you must do that first...And if your cable is longer than the stock size ( like 6 feet up to 10 feet) u will have issues with voltage drop and you will need a Ac powered usb port hub( best buy has them for like $20?, which i use on my cutter .I have a 12 foot cable and works flawless. otherwise contact craftedge.com support and they will help you completely..
