Jumps and cuts over itself...

Recommended Posts

I have the Copam 3500. When I am cutting vinyl it will randomly jump back and overlap its last cut by about 1/2 inch to 1 inch. I thought it was the vinyl just slipping under the tension rollers. That wasn't it. Its not a driver problem either. I does it from Flexi with the Roland pnc-1000 driver. It does it from Signcut also with no driver installed just like the instructions say to do. We are wasting too much vinyl and not getting any production done. I need help!

Thanks.

I haven't been able to get my cp-2500 to run with the roland pnc1000 driver.I am using the hewlett packard hpgl driver. That's probably the biggest part of the problem. You can use the pnc1000 for a mh721,but it does not work on the cp-2500.Try changing the driver and running the cut with a pen on carstock instead.that way you don't waste vinyl.
