SCD'SIGNS 1 Posted June 21, 2012 Hi everyone, i have a little problem. I have an image from a customer (im still pretty new to this as i dont get chance to do much) He has some hoodies and t-shirts made up ages ago and his man constantly let him down. Ive been asked to recreate this: This is only a 2 colour design, any black is the t-shirt showing through. All i was given was this: Ive tried (using Sign Blazer) to put another border round this image so the reds sitting ontop and it also puts a border on the inside of the text which i dont want. I need the black of the t-shirt to show through. Its probably really simple but i been messing about for ages and i just cant seem to do it. I actually want this image so that i can heat press the gold first and then lay the red thinner outline ontop of the actual gold (not butted up next to it as he does not want any chance of gaps showing) The other writing is not important but can anyone help me out here and maybe covert this image for me into layers so it looks like the one above. Im pulling my hair out here needs to be a SB file or a file it recognises. Needs to be just like the pic above

SCD'SIGNS 1 Posted June 21, 2012 i have inkscape, but it will only convert what it see's and wont put the gold layer underneath the red. It will just be 2 coloured outlines
vezman71 4 Posted June 21, 2012 You should be able to use dynamic off-set to do the gold layer. Duplicate, Ctrl J, get the size you want, delete the nodes on the inside of the duplicate, layer it down. I'm at work, or I'd try it. lol

CUZ 3 Posted June 28, 2012 use you vector in sign blazer then clean it up with the node editer. Should be fairly simple take maybe 5 to 10 minutes.
vinylmotivations 143 Posted June 28, 2012 Did you ever figure this one out??? If you know what the fonts are this would be an easy one to recreate.
