contour cutting a plus for inkjet heat transfers??

Recommended Posts

I'm ready to replace my mh721. still haven't chosen its successor. I just bought a cobra ink-equipped epson printer to do thermal transfers on t-shirts, etc. Was plan ning to buy another mh, but it sort of looks like they may be going away. so upon looking around I noticed the uscutter sc series. seems like a bit of an upgrade for not much price increase. but what about the laser cut option?

I do a lot of banners, full size signs, stencils for sign and custom car painting, etc. as well as my new foray into the t-shirt transfers. I don't really understand what contour cutting does, so my question is: given what I use my cutter for, would the laser option be of any benefit to me?

thanks
