need to make 2 color

i need to make this 2 color, it will only let me color the outside...how do i get the inside to color?

I did it in SignBlazer

I Imported it into SignBlazer

I did an Arrange + Split Objects

I selected each letter and changed the color

I moved the letters up out if the way

I did a selection box around what is left, (Background and some cutouts)

I did an Arrange + Combine.

Exported back to EPS

You mean like this?  I used Corel Draw X3 and used the "smart fill" tool

yes that is what i was trying to do but turns out i like yours better  i get to make the x a different color
