NatDragon 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Pouring through different forums and I can't seem to find a general consensus on the size of lettering for sleeves. I did read on one post they use 3". Does anyone out there think this is a good size? The customer wants the letters stacked and a couple of kid's names are too long to make them 3" and fit down the sleeve. What do I do in this case? Reduce the size of all the names so the long names fit or just make those two names' lettering less than 3"? Thanks
Conquestgraphics 4 Posted February 13, 2011 3" would be to big if your stacking names then i would think 1 1/12 to 2 " lettering should work fine
NatDragon 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Thanks! I set them all up as 1.50" stacked. That puts the 2 long names at 15.50" length. Would you still keep the short names at 1.50"? Surprisingly, the M and L sleeves seem to be pretty close to the same length, I have read some put the names centered and some put them 2" down from the shoulder seem, opinion? mr300s 1,272 Posted February 14, 2011 The paper I have says Long Sleeve print this is measured from the end of the design to the seam of the shoulder. Image height -------------------Distance from collar] 8" - 10" -------------- 3" hope this helps you
screenprintr 319 Posted February 14, 2011 I would start 2" from the seam, and about 1" to 1.5" letters/numbers.
HazzCoDaisy 1 Posted February 16, 2011 I always just eye them up. Size depends on the font also .. its a hard question to answer. Good luck!
