rs6blades 0 Posted February 8, 2011 Hey Gang, just wondering if you guys could give me some input on Tshirts when it comes to Ink Jet Transfer vs Vinyl cut transfers? Which is better? Which is less expensive? What are advantages? What are disadvantages? What is durability of transfer? We are looking at a cost effective, customizable medium size runs on a few items like tShirts, blanket, towels, etc.. and were debating on which way would be to go. Any thoughts? screenprintr 319 Posted February 9, 2011 Buy both, save us the trouble of figuring it out. Really, once you get started you'll get people who want transfers for t-shirts, and vinyl on jerseys.
lost1 1 Posted February 9, 2011 The vinyl will outlast the garment in most cases while the inkjet will fade out as it gets washed. Plastisol transfers are another option http://www.transferfreedom.com/4prpltr.html that will last a long time but better for the 24 pc & up orders.
