KEGRAFFIX 0 Posted November 5, 2010 I want to venture into the tshirt side of things. And need some help. I want to make some shirts for some forums im involved with. I have been reading up on plastisol tranfers and decided thats the route I want to take. This is the design I want to use, but need to know if its doable? its 6 colors. Also how do I go about setting the art work so a transfer can be made?
screenprintr 319 Posted November 6, 2010 When you say Plastisol, do you mean you want a screen printer to make you Custom Transfers with Plastisol Ink? If so, you create the artwork in Layers. Each color and shades should be within their own layer. If you screen print, then print them on film, and expose them on a screen face up for transfers. If you're looking for a screen printer or have one to make the transfers give him 6 pieces of film, one per color, and one for each shade or half tone. This is called Color Separation. Hope this helps.
remus 5 Posted November 6, 2010 yes it is doable, but with 6 colors it will not be cheap to do, it is going to cost you to get that done....
