Iamspace 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Hi all, I have already used heat press vinyl on Tshirts, however I have a futre customer who wants something doing on mens silk ties.. screenprintr 319 Posted September 8, 2010 I haven't but you can check with the manufacture of the silk ties. Also, buy a few silk ties and try it. With screen printing I have to do a wash test for every new product I haven't used before to make sure the ink doesn't wash out. It's the cost of doing business. I want to use thermoflex but they say it's good on cotton and polyester and when I asked about silk they didn't know. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried it... I will post with the result but won't be until next week. The customer would prefer silk ties to poyester, so will give it a go to see how it turns out.
