wasatchcars 0 Posted March 18, 2010 I have a customer that I did some pricing on a Plexiglas cabinet door who wants to change the decals now. What would be the best way to remove the old vinyl (oracal 651) without hurting the door? They are 3/4" numbers.
jcart 11 Posted March 18, 2010 You might try useing a heat gun or hair dryer to "warm" them first and they should peal off.
Radioactiveman 2 Posted March 18, 2010 use a low heat sorce and get the vinyl a little soft and it should peal off, and then use some goo remover if there is any stuff left behind. Duck Tape makes an orange remover that I like, you can buy it at the hardware store, it works good, but its not so harsh it damages other things.
