RE:XP when downloading graphics and eps files

I just bought a labtop and having problems saving eps files i created in inkscape. Once I save them as eps I go to sighnblazer and all that appears is a black box with the title I saved it as. What am I doing wrong? My other computer is vista and it automatically puts it in a download folder. XP seems to do things differently from what I can see.Anyone have xp out there and can lead me in the right direction I wold appreciat it.

Prior to saving the EPS in Inkscape are you deleting any pixelated image that may be present leaving only the vector? Failure to do so has caused problems in the past for me. You could upload a problematic sample EPS in a reply for someone to test ....
