jcart 11 Posted February 19, 2010 I just wanted to alert other users that last night I was searching for a fox head graphic, through a Google search. I clicked on a link and immmediatly it started downloading viruses. It happened so fast that I'm not even sure of the link. I would recomend only using links from this site or from others who know for sure that they are virus free. I hope this helps someone else prevent having to go through the process of getting rid of them. Jon ps....Thanks to all for all of the knowledge presenrted here. Soul Reaper 0 Posted February 19, 2010 I run Norton anti virus. when i search online it has a green check next to the link. that way i know it is good. when i click on the link norton does a quick virus scan. it wont let anything download without checking it and asking me. it is a pain sometimes but well worth it. what kind of fox head where you loking for? got some tribal ones

jcart 11 Posted February 22, 2010 Thanks for the info. I'm looking for a fox graphic to put on a necklace that my wife is making for a gal who has the last name Fox and loves foxes. I have found some full figures but no heads except the fox racing emblems. Thanks again, Jon

midwaste 4 Posted February 23, 2010 AVG does the same thing, puts checks next to the google search results. I recommend you use NoScript as well. When you go to a site, it won't be allowed to run scripts unless you explicitly allow it (temporarily or all the time). Most legit sites will not require running a script to d/l files, and you can then scan them before un-rar'ing/unzipping.
