GX-24 Questions

I'm looking to buy a GX-24 and had a few questions

1) If I print decals with registration marks and then laminate before cutting, will the scanning(from the cutter) of the registration marks be effected by lamination?

2) On larger decals say 10"x36", if I had someone print these with registration marks on their system, and then try to contour cut on the GX-24 is this doable or even practical?

  On the U-Tube videos I see, its always printed and cut from the same system. I could see this not being practical if different software was used, but thought I would inquire.

When contour cutting with the GX-24 (or any machine for that matter) the print must be the exact same file, but it does not necessarily need to be done from the same system. It would complicate things dramatically to outsource the print though so we do not recommend this.

A 24"x36" print would be a bit to large for this machine. You must leave adequate space for the registrations marks. It is a good idea to have 1-2" of padding on either side of the reg marks.
