MH 871 - Blade doesn't drop into vinyl, multiple attempts to contact support.

USC,  I spoke with Levi and did the 9v battery and Power On/Power Off test.  Carriage is responding to the battery, and the blade holder does move.  It doesn't move with the cover on (or with the cover off and I use a pencil to push the red home button,) but with the cover off and no home button depression, it jumps pretty good.  I need to get this thing up and running asap.  I've been on hold for 30 minutes, left two messages, and sent a message in through the live chat (who seems away all day.)      If a part is needed (seems like the motherboard is the going repair,) I need it in the air tonight!
