Gerber edge fx or roland printer

We have been thinking of looking into a gerber edge fx or maybe a digital printer like the Roland VP300.

What is the big differences or benefits between them.

We are mainly looking at small run decals and name labels, but I imagine once we started different jobs will come.

As I say we are still in the planning stage and I hoping to use this post to hear of other gerber and digital printer owners experiences, preferences and recomendations.
