cox signs 0 Posted October 2, 2009 i am new to this cut several things went well I'm using the bgs vinyl with us cutter classic tape when i tape them up the vinyl don't want to come off the backing paper is it the vinyl ?the tape ? or am i doing something wrong ? i sguee overthing down even let it sit over night is there a better way ? rjfox 0 Posted October 2, 2009 Sounds like to much pressure. The blade should only cut the vinyl, if it goes into the backing paper it can cause the vinyl to not want to come up. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
American And Proud 2 Posted October 2, 2009 New myself and also bought the BGS 12 color 24"x3yrd and the Sign Supply Starter Kit and a 6" roll of the uscutter clear app tape and had the same problem. I was told here that the BGS stuff was hard to get the App tape to stick to it and the clear tape made it even harder. Squeegie the app tape down with good pressure and turn your decal or whatever you made over, then pull the backing paper off almost totally flat against the backside peeling at an angle.
