I must be doing something wrong with Vectorizing

I will attach 2 images I thought where vectorized. I tried to cut them with SignBlazer and a black box comes up. I used a few other vector images on this board and they cut fine. Can someone check the files out to see if I vectorized correctly? Thanks!

They are AI files but they just have jpgs in them.  The chi file was easy to trace but I can't get the other one to be visible in anything but AI.  When I export as a jpg it doesn't show up in corel, inkscape or even my jpg viewer.  I'm not very good with AI so someone else might have better luck.
