RC Car Software

Recommended Posts

I'm completely new at this so please bear with me. I'm thinking of purchasing a USCutter 24" laserpoint machine & would like to know if it is difficult to setup and use. I'm getting it mainly for vinyl stickers for R/C cars mostly 1/10 & 1/8 scale. Are there any software programs I should be looking at to accomplish my goals. Thanks

I would recommend SignBlazer, and InkScape. They should be all you need.

SignCut X2 is great software if you are going to be doing your design work in Inkscape, Illustrator, or Corel Draw.

Greg

I am new to vinyl cutting myself so I can only speak from my 2 weeks of owning a cutter. I purchased a Refine MH 721 along with Sign Cut X2 and downloaded Inkscape to do graphics for Radio Control Airplanes. I just cut my first set of graphics for the main wing and vertical fin a couple of days ago. Inkscape and Sign Cut make a great combination, for the price you can't go wrong.

Greg, the Lp is more than enough.  You will love it.  I have had my LP for a little over a year and i must say, it is the best investment i have made for making my RC masks.
