Just bought a Capom 4050, can I hook it up straight USB to my MACPRO

Hello all,

I am reading quite a few posts on the forum here and it seems as though the tricky part about feeding the plotter is the connection

I have a MacPro running 10.5.7.  If I hook this up directly USB to USB and load the driver from this site:  http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Is that all I need to do??

I do not want to hook them up together if it will get complicated.  Should I just order the Keyspan adapter and go serial, or is this plotter and those drivers compatible??
