Cutter not moving to cut objects

Recommended Posts

Have had my copam 2500 for a couple months & been turning out some great stuff . Other day I cut 1 sign & went to cut another , cutter went to left to cut out line & when it went to pull vinyl thru it started slipping ( wont pull hard enough to roll 50 yd roll ) I hit abort on the cutter & still kept going so I shut cutter off then turned it back on , the cutter head went to the left & tried to keep going making an awful noise , I shut it off & on many times with no luck getting to return to the home pos. I turned it on & wiggled the cutter head slightly & it returned to home . I went through the cutter setup & looked for things to help me to get the cutter to return to home before I actually got the head to move to home pos. I dont think I changed anything but cant remember . Now to my problem , when I want to cut something all is normal , get object or text to cut , click on cut , cut tile box shows up , click on cut tile , sending to cutter shows up with progress bar , shows on the drawing the lines of cutter route & all but cutter doesnt move at all . Turning cutter on or off the computer makes the normal sound to acknowledge it , cutter turned on asks for scroll or sheet , hit enter & will move to measure vinyl , can change speeds , pressure & all , just wont move when computer commands it to . PLEASE HELP !!!!!  ANYONE !!! Thank you .  I am using windows vista & using the usb serial cable
