jayfil23 0 Posted June 9, 2009 i am installing a decal that covers the front and rear door on a prius later, and i am wondering what the best method for finishing the edges is. normally i just make sure the edges are clean and wrap the vinyl around to the back...but is it better to cut it short and not mark the curve to prevent peeling? thanks guys Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
yoginaranjo 0 Posted June 11, 2009 First clean inside the doors where vinyl will wrap around with mild soap and water and dry. Then just slice straight down the middle of the door in between the crack and push in with squeegee then open doors and make sure it wraps good inside ..........Been doing it for 3 years like that and never had a problem sometimes i even bust out the heat gun for that areas only to give me peace of mind but yeah you got it same way you mentioned Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
