RockerSigns 0 Posted June 8, 2009 I was just wondering if you can use sizer easyweed on those nylon string promo backpacks? Will the melt, or do you need a different type vinyl?
firemalt 10 Posted June 8, 2009 You would probably need to use a heat press vinyl that is suited for Nylon.

Guest fivestar Posted June 8, 2009 Get some Siser Easyweed Extra, it's supposed to be for nylon.
RockerSigns 0 Posted June 8, 2009 Cool Thanks! It wont melt the bag will it?
Renegade 2 Posted June 8, 2009 It can! So, be careful and use a teflon pad to help protect the nylon. Make sure you use the correct amount of heat and don't go over by much temperature or time.
RockerSigns 0 Posted June 8, 2009 Thanks everyone! I will place my order then! I just didnt know if you could do it with a press!
TCT 0 Posted June 9, 2009 I have used the Thermoflex Xtra on the nylon bags and had no issues. The temperature is lower for that type of vinyl and the Thermoflex Xtra takes a little bit of getting used to on working with it. You have to be careful the edges stick and I peeled cold. I will post a pic of the bags I have done. So far, they have held up great! Even used it on a huge athletic duffel. Just go for it!
Spyder Graphix 0 Posted June 9, 2009 We use Allmark from signwarehouse for that type of work..
