ho do i open a pdf file in sign cut-x2

i have a pdf file a friend sent me, he wants the image as a decal i tried to open it in signcut-x2 but it will not open for some reason can someone help me get this file cuttable and able to pull it up in sign cut i think it is vectored already but not sure. i tried to attach the file but it is to large i can send it to some one email thanks
