Having Issues with cutter taking a nose dive into my vinyl

Hey everyone, I have a Creation cr-730 and am using signcut pro. When I cut out items that are about 6" or bigger my cutter tents to catch the vinyl or send the blade deep into it. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance

In the cutter is a small ridge ( gutter ) in front of the cutting strip and also in the rear.

The leading and trailing edge of the vinyl can be caugth in there.

Cover it up with VINYL and check with just feeding for and backwards if it is solved.

The software cant just cut deeper.
