yoginaranjo 0 Posted May 7, 2009 Today i was installing some lettering on my vehicle(on the glass) started at about 2 o'clock pm it was 94 degree here in sunny Southern California. I have been installing vinyl lettering for about 5 years and i have never seen my letters with so many air bubbles keep in mind i was in direct sun light i wish i had one of those digital temp gun to see how hot the glass was cause let me tell you it was ugly i wish my kids wouldn't have taken the camera to there track meet to show you guys, just wanted to share that with you............ the size i was working on was 13x20 regular font nothing to fancy i believe it was baskerville bold font.....i was using oracal white 15x10 installing dry.......... firemalt 10 Posted May 8, 2009 I only have about 1 1/2 years experience at this, but is it safe to assume the bubbles were cause by the adhesive gases expanding due to the heated substrate?
