vinyl doesn't pull evenly through the machine

I am having trouble getting the vinyl to stay straight when I do a large cut - it seems to pull one side more than the other, and the vinyl ends up going crooked.

Am I doing something wrong?

if the feed roller is in two pieces, try making sure the set screws are all tight.

Is it pulling against tension from the roll? Anytime there is a long cut; after measuring the vinyl, I'll use the arrow key to run the roll thru the rollers to insure it's tracking straight and unspool (is that a word?) a portion of the roll.
