DanRHeller 1 Posted April 16, 2009 I just got a shipment of black Hanes 50/50 blend tshirts. (heavyweight) and when I heatpress on my vinyl, it doesn't adhear too well. I have the press at 165*C, and it is a cadcut vinyl.
midwaste 4 Posted April 16, 2009 You might try upping the temp about 10-15 above the manufacturers specs. Also, repressing for a few after you remove the backer if it's not sticking well. Maybe try upping the pressure on your press as well. What vinyl are you using?
Saiyt! 3 Posted April 16, 2009 try pressing shirt before hand to remove moisture hope that helps! Chris
DanRHeller 1 Posted April 16, 2009 shirts were pressed before hand, and i tried pressing for a little longer, and hotter. I was told it may be the ecofilm from cad cut....so it may be a cold peel, i'm trying that.
Guest sciondrgn Posted April 16, 2009 Eco-Film should be able to peeled Hot or Cold but if you have the CUTII kind then its cold only

Guest fivestar Posted April 16, 2009 Try applying more pressure and if it's Spectra Cut II throw it in the trash and get some real vinyl.
Guest fivestar Posted April 16, 2009 Also grab an infared thermometer and check your platen's temperature.
