What do you think is the problem when...

Recommended Posts

Do you guys know what my problem would be if say for instance, I'm cutting a simple border (this is when I notice it occuring most). A lot of the times, the blade does not match up with its startin position, but is slightly off. Hm..does that make sense? If it's cutting a circle, the blade will go all the way around just fine, but when it arrives back at the starting point to close the circle or square, often times it is not closed or is even off.

I hope that made some sort of sense. I'd appreciate the input! Thanks everyone.

First thing I would check would be your blade offset setting in your software,

I use 0.015 /w Flexi and it works great for me, but general rule of thumb is 0.025 and adjust as needed to help complete/close cuts.

Also check the X/Y offset of the cutter.

Send with a plotter pen a 155x150 mm rectangle to a A4 size paper and measure the size.

If it is off, correct the machines X/Y settings untill it is correct.

Then start to check the offset of the kife in the software.
