sabrina99 4 Posted April 5, 2009 Just wondering what you use to show a preview of what the car is going to look like. Thanks!
leefree 0 Posted April 5, 2009 What I do is snap pictures of the areas on the car that need to be lettered. Get measurements and bring the photos into the sign program. and scale them up according to the measurements that you took. Then do your designs and position them on the images and print them out in color or black and white. That gives the customer an idea of what it would look like on there and if they want to make changes then they can do so.
Guest fivestar Posted April 5, 2009 Yup that's exactly how I do it. That way the customer can see exactly what it's going to look like.

firemalt 10 Posted April 5, 2009 What you cando is get a piece of material(say 1 or 2ft long), add some magnets on the backside. Place the material on your sunstrate(i.e. vehicle), take a picture of it, import the picture into your design program, scale to size, design and cut.
