sarconastic 29 Posted April 4, 2009 I was wondering how everyone here stores their Easyweed after it's weeded. I want to be able to prep say 20 cuts so that when I get an order i can press it on the appropriate shirt. I don't think App tape sticky side down is a good idea, it would pull the stuff off. What i have done for right now is stick the easyweed decal to the back of a piece of clear app tape, then stuck the app tape to the bench until i need it, but this isn't along term solution. Also has anyone ever applied heat press vinyl to the back of a leather jacket, Pleather Jacket or a Satin Jacket? I have a few people asking and I am not sure if it can be done. Guest fivestar Posted April 4, 2009 Kevin just stack them on top of each other is how I do it. They don't pull the vinyl off. As for leather, I haven't pressed any myself but they make special vinyl for leather I've heard.
MikeMan 0 Posted April 4, 2009 I save the old backing material from designs I've already pressed and have been using that without any problem... Before that I was sticking them on the mirror in the guest bathroom!
Renegade 2 Posted April 5, 2009 I used to stack mine on top of each other, but its a little slow to peel them apart especially slows you down at shows. So, now I usually stick them to silicone parchment paper. It just barely sticks to it and is quick to peel off. Parchment paper is handy to have around for JPSS and things like that as well.
